This is an interactive route map of our two-week Morocco High Atlas Traverse by MTB trip, back in 2015. For more on our action-packed ride, do also take a look at the blog posts of this trip and the photos too. We did the trip self-supported, carrying all our own gear. Because it was a big undertaking, and in the absence of information about the route, it took us six months to plan. Along the way we rode some wild and wonderful scenery and met fantastic Moroccan people. We stayed in some amazing accomodation too. The High Atlas are an awe-inspiring mountain range, soaring upwards from the desert. The range includes the highest peak in North Africa, Jbel Toubkal, at 13,671 ft.
